Together our Directors founded Emerging Unidos and work hard to ensure we stay an equitable and inclusive organization. Because our Directors come from different walks of life, identities, and are great friends we have been able to meet our community where they are and serve them in the best way possible.

Being Queer, Multicultural, and trauma impacted, Nicole is passionate about creating a foundation for others like them to build themselves up. Having founded the beginnings of Emerging Unidos, they are passionate about changing the toxic behaviors in non-profits and ensuring community led programming and support.

Having worked as a farmworker as child, Jesus developed a very close relationship and pride with his community. He has a deep seated passion to see change in how farmworkers and youth are treated, the opportunities they are given, and the systems that impact us in our community.
