Empower all people; create safe, inclusive, culturally respectful spaces; and assist young people in realizing their potential, transcending barriers, and achieving their definition of success.
Emerging Unidos cultivates personal growth and safe spaces that empower young people to overcome challenges, value and respect themselves, and pursue rewarding futures.
It is our priority to represent the community we serve through our board and staff. Because we identify strongly with the identities of our participants we are able to work in unison with the community and young people in order to provide better, more inclusive, programming alongside young people themselves.

Our Beginnings
For three years Emerging Unidos functioned as a pilot program, named Frame Up, at the Northwest Hub. This pilot supported 10 struggling young adults, from diverse walks of life, as they took the next steps towards their futures.
All 10 participants moved forward to pursue secondary education, have stable employment, live independently, and pursue their definitions of success.
Because of the great success of Frame Up and the immense need expressed by our community we formed Emerging Unidos, now serving primarily Woodburn and Salem, Oregon.
